We may be cheap, but we do not reduce the quality of your pattern, only the price! GUARANTEED!

To create your own unique cross-stitch in one easy step just send us the photograph (or image) you wish to have converted, and we'll produce a easy to read, high quality A3 (11" x 16") sized chart, plus a list of all the symbols with corresponding DMC thread code, along with the amount of thread needed for each colour.

The standard size we design the charts for is 8"x10" using between approximately 30-50 colours, for either 14-count or 16 count white aida.
We can also produce double sized grids for anyone requiring larger print or the grid on several A4 sheets if you would prefer.


We also offer you the chance to give us exact details about your final design, all these extras are free unless stated otherwise. The types of information you can give are as follows:

• specific size for your final cross-stitch, e.g. you might prefer a smaller size of 8"x6" or bigger of 14"x10", you can give us any size you like, but the final size is dependant on the image, so we will try and match the size you ask for. If you need it to fit an exact size, please tell us so we know not to use a slightly smaller/bigger size. You may also tell us a minimum and maximum size you would like the final stitch to be.
  
• minimum/maximum number of colours  Please be aware that using lots of colours produces a more difficult cross-stitch with single stitches of a colour spread over the whole design. If you specify too few colours then the final cross-stitch can look very artificial. It is generally best to tell us the minimum and maximum you'd like. Alternatively, you may like to leave it to us to select an appropriate number.
  
• different count of aida. Normally we produce charts for either 14-count or 16 count white aida, but if you wish a more detailed cross-stitch then we can also produce for higher count aida. If you wish to have the design on a lower count aida then please be aware that you will need a larger final size to give the same quality of final design.
  
• object(s) removal. We can remove most objects from the design, such as lampposts or trees, but please be aware that trying to remove large objects with complicated surrounds may make the design look artificial. If you would like us to try, then please let us know. If you would like to see a preview of the final design with the object(s) removed then please give an e-mail address (see the Preview section).
  
• background removal. If you would like the subject of your design only, without the surroundings, then we can remove the surrounds and turn it into white or any colour you would prefer.. Please be aware that sometimes this can result in a design appearing "cut out", especially if the surrounds are part of the subject. If you are unsure, please contact us. It may look better with some surrounds, or some framing.
  
• colouring. We can produce cross-stitch designs from colour, black and white or sepia. We can then make these into any colour you like (except making them into colour!). We can convert the colours of your design to either black and white, or into sepia (or another colouring if you wish). Having an old black and white photograph stitched  in sepia colours may look better, if you'd like to see some selections, try our Previews (see Preview section).
  
• chart sizes. We normally produce our charts on A3 sized paper (11" x 16"), if your design is large then your design may need more then one page (this is free). We can also produce specially enlarged charts for anyone that needs them, these can be made double sized. We can also produce your charts on A4 sized paper if you prefer working with smaller sheets.
  

To help you decide whether you like your design before you start stitching it, we offer a free service which allows you to see the results first, then you can suggest any changes you would like made. We can e-mail you a preview picture.

If you would like a colour print made then we charge £2 to cover printing costs.

You can stop your order at any point without incurring any charges from us. There is no obligation to continue your order if you are not happy. We want all our customers to be satisfied with their final cross-stitch and we are confident that if you use our services, you will be.




The price for our photo-to-chart service is just £8 and Postage and Packing is free within the UK. We can not accept credit/debit-cards orders, only payment by cheque/postal order or other such method. If you are unsure, please e-mail or write to us.

Stitch-It Photo-Stitch contains an easy to read, high quality printed chart produced over one or more A3 pages (varies depending on final cross-stitch size), plus a list of  all the DMC threads used with the corresponding symbol and also the lengths used of each thread.
